Volleyball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King's tournament run continued when they took on Cajon on Saturday. The King Wolves fell just short of the Cajon Cowboys by a score of 1-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brice Bayardo paced King's offense, picking up three kills. Bayardo got some help from Giovanny Madott and his five assists. Finally, Bayardo was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cajon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

King is taking a road trip to challenge Ramona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ramona will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something King surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cajon, they have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Yucaipa on the 1st.
