Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kallie Thrift and Enslee Stowers Lead Franklin County to Victory

Franklin County had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Elbert County on Tuesday. The Lions blew past the Blue Devils 3-0. The Lions have beaten the Blue Devils the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blue Devils has come to flipping the script.

Franklin County not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Elbert County between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-17.

Leading Franklin County to victory were Enslee Stowers and Kallie Thrift. Stowers had ten digs and three assists, while Thrift had seven digs and five kills. What's more, Thrift racked up 14 assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Franklin County now has a winning record of 2-1.
