Waynesboro is 7-0-2 against Staunton since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Little Giants will head out to take on the Storm at 7:00 p.m. Waynesboro will be strutting in after a win while Staunton will be coming in after a loss.

Waynesboro's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Riverheads by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Waynesboro.

Meanwhile, Staunton unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Wilson Memorial by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Staunton couldn't push the score so high this time.

Staunton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Waynesboro, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Waynesboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Staunton in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Little Giants since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
