After flying high against Southern Wake Academy on Wednesday, Woods Charter came back down to earth. Wolves took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals on Thursday. Woods Charter were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than four goals in the five matches prior), but Cornerstone Charter's defense proved too tough.
