North Duplin is 8-2 against Lakewood since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rebels are taking a road trip to face off against the Leopards at 5:00 p.m. Lakewood took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on North Duplin, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, North Duplin got the win against West Columbus by a conclusive 3-0.

North Duplin was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to East Bladen.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-9.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for North Duplin, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

North Duplin took their win against Lakewood when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
