Football Recap: Central Islip Takes a Loss

Central Islip lost against Sachem North back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Musketeers lost 28-6 to Sachem North. While losing is never fun, the Musketeers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 494th, while Sachem North are ranked 193rd).

Central Islip dropped their record down to 2-6 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sachem North, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

As of now, neither Central Islip nor Sachem North have any future games scheduled.
