Basketball Recap: Munising Baptist Comes Up Short at Home Against Big Bay De Noc

Munising Baptist unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 73-50 to the Big Bay de Noc Black Bears on Monday. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured 14 defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Big Bay de Noc moved to 1-3 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Munising Baptist will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maplewood Baptist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Big Bay de Noc, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-44 win against Mid Peninsula on the 17th.
