Volleyball Recap: Argyle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Argyle suffered their biggest defeat since September 3rd on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Fort Edward Flying Forts. The Scots have struggled against the Flying Forts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

While Argyle ultimately came up short, they really made Fort Edward work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Ava Cormie paced Argyle's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cormie got some help from Brooke Austin and her 12 assists. Kyleigh Dennis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fort Edward found their leader in sophomore Elizabeth Brown, who had 11 digs.

Argyle's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Fort Edward, they pushed their record up to 20-1-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
