The Washington County Golden Hawks's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They managed a 55-50 victory over Josey. Given Washington County's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Josey is ranked 467th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Washington County will look to defend their home court on Friday against Butler at 8:30 p.m. Butler has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 228 points over their last three matchups. As for Josey, they will head out on the road to take on Laney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
