Oceanside Collegiate Academy extended their winning streak to 16 games thanks to a huge performance from Jake Thomas. The Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks walked away with a 61-50 victory over the North Charleston Cougars on Tuesday thanks to Thomas, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Abe Davinroy, who had 11 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why North Charleston lost, don't look at Richard Hazel III. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-10 to rack up 15 points and eight boards. Marcus Simmons was another key player, putting up ten points.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy's win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points over those games. As for North Charleston, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Coming up, Oceanside Collegiate Academy will face off against Hanahan at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oceanside Collegiate Academy is facing Hanahan at the right time seeing as Hanahan is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. North Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
