Soccer Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard lost to West Laurens back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Huskies lost 4-0 to the Raiders. While losing is never fun, Howard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 337th, while West Laurens are ranked 154th).

Howard has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for West Laurens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Howard wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hephzibah on the 19th. As for West Laurens, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Trinity Christian on the 20th.
