Baseball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington and James Island squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lexington had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 6-5. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 22-11-1. As for James Island, their win was their 16th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-4.

As of now, neither Lexington nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
