Brighton had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mountain Range Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Brighton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-10.

Codi Jackson paced Brighton's offense, picking up nine kills. Jackson got some help from Kenna Von Ah and her 15 assists. Von Ah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Brighton's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Mountain Range, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Brighton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Westminster on the 9th. As for Mountain Range, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Riverdale Ridge on the 9th.
