Flowing Wells barely beat Rincon/University the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Caballeros were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Rangers on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 back in February.
Eleana Parsons was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Yesenia Solano was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Flowing Wells' win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-17. As for Rincon/University, they dropped their record down to 5-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
