White River Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Green Mountain Chieftains. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly three runs.

White River Valley pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Green Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

White River Valley will venture away from home to take on Rivendell Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green Mountain, they will host Otter Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Chieftains' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Otters have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
