Volleyball Recap: Lamar Has No Trouble Against Aurora

Lamar not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Aurora Houn Dawgs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-6, 25-19.

Chrislyn Dixon paced Lamar's offense, picking up 13 kills. Dixon got some help from Rowan Parks and her 16 assists. Finally, Dixon was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Lamar's record is now 20-7-3. As for Aurora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-21.

Looking ahead, Lamar will host Monett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aurora has already played their next match (against Hollister), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
