It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South County can now relate to. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McLean Highlanders on Tuesday. The Stallions' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lauren Mrowka was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

South County's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for McLean, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 21-3.

South County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McLean, they will face off against Glen Allen at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The last five games the Jaguars have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
