Softball Game Preview: Beaver Beavers vs. Enterprise Wolves

For the second straight game, Beaver will face off against Enterprise. The Beavers will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Wolves at 3:30 p.m. Beaver is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Beaver will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Enterprise, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Beavers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wolves on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Beavers.

KaBella Low spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jerzee Beaumont, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Wright, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Enterprise and nudges their season record down to 11-6. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only two runs. As for Beaver, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
