Bigfork is a perfect 4-0 against Libby since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings & Valkyries will look to defend their home field against the Loggers at 7:00 p.m.

Bigfork is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Columbia Falls, who was ranked 13th at the time (Bigfork was ranked 15th). The Vikings & Valkyries received a blow on Friday as they fell 27-13 to the Wildcats. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings & Valkyries in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Libby, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 12th. They walked away with a 31-20 victory over Polson on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Loggers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Libby's win came from a few key players Bigfork will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tristan Andersen, who rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Lamere, who threw for 202 yards and a pair of TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Libby proved: they limited Polson to a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. The Loggers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.9.

Libby pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.0 points on average over those games. As for Bigfork, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
