Bradford posted their closest win since April 26, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Madison Mustangs. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Landon Hagan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brodie McDaniel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.

Bradford now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Madison, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Bradford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-2 victory against Fayette Ware on the 22nd. As for Madison, they will square off against Adamsville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Madison's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
