Basketball Recap: Pine Comes Up Short

Pine's tournament run continued when they took on Parkview Baptist on Saturday. The Pine Raiders fell 61-49 to the Parkview Baptist Eagles.

Pine's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Parkview Baptist, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Pine will finish 2024 at home by hosting Fontainebleau at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pine is facing Fontainebleau at the right time seeing as Fontainebleau is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Parkview Baptist and Vestavia Hills will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
