Basketball Recap: Deering Comes Up Short

Deering lost against Gorham back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Deering Rams fell to the Gorham Rams 54-50.

Deering's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Gorham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-9.

Deering and Gorham could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings. Deering (ranked 54th) will meet South Portland (ranked fourth) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gorham will challenge Falmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 50 places (65 vs. 15).
