Matthew Metzger Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Northern Cass's Matthew Metzger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metzger turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, picking up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 88 yards.
Northern Cass is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Metzger and Northern Cass will challenge Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Northern Cass player making an appearance on this list is Matthew Hoppe. He rushed for 91 yards.
Hoppe is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Hillsboro/Central Valley on Friday. Hoppe rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry the last time he and the H-CV Burros duked it out back in September of 2023.
