Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bells walked away with it. They came out on top against the Prairiland Patriots by a score of 4-1 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Patriots on Wednesday, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Bells has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Prairiland, they moved to 8-11-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
