Recap: Rockcastle County Rockets vs. Casey County Rebels
The Rockcastle County Rockets entered their tilt with the Casey County Rebels with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Rockcastle County strolled past Casey County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 27-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rockcastle County also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.
Rockcastle County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleb Moore out in front who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Tucker Warren, who threw for 141 yards and a touchdown.
Rockcastle County's win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 McCreary Central and 2-7 Pineville (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 35% over those games). As for Casey County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Rockcastle County will be playing at home against Estill County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Casey County, they will head out on the road to face off against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
