Basketball Game Preview: Goffstown Grizzlies vs. Alvirne Broncos

The Goffstown Grizzlies and the Alvirne Broncos will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Goffstown lost to Nashua South at home by a 74-60 margin. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Purple Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Alvirne gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took down Manchester Memorial 59-45.

Goffstown won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in February, slipping by Alvirne 50-49. Will Goffstown repeat their success, or does Alvirne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
