Softball Recap: Eagle Mountain Comes Up Short

Eagle Mountain and Snyder squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Eagle Mountain had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 16-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Eagle Mountain and nudges their season record down to 16-15-1. As for Snyder, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Eagle Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Snyder, they will face off against Greenwood on Saturday. The Rangers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
