Volleyball Recap: South Windsor Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Windsor can now relate to. They fell just short of the Newtown Nighthawks by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

South Windsor now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Newtown, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9-1 record this season.

South Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Newtown, they will take on Greenwich at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
