Football Preview: Nixa Eagles vs. Glendale Falcons
It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles challenges the Glendale Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. They will need to watch out since Nixa has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Last Friday, Nixa was fully in charge, breezing past Ozark 48-3 at home. Fans of the Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.
Dylan Rebura continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 254 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. Nixa also got help from Wyatt Vincent, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Nixa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 290 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 184 rushing yards in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, a victory for Glendale just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They came up short against Lebanon, falling 49-28.
Nixa's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Glendale, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
