Basketball Recap: Alabama Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Westminster School at Oak Mountain last Saturday, Alabama Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Alabama Christian Academy Eagles took a 43-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery Academy Eagles. The matchup marked Alabama Christian Academy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Alabama Christian Academy's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-3. As for Montgomery Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alabama Christian Academy will host Tallassee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery Academy, they will welcome Saint James at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
