Since 2006, De La Salle has won seven state titles in 10 championship game appearances, went unbeaten four times and finished in the Top 10 of the final state rankings all 10 times.

Our data suggests that De La Salle's level of success and consistency during that span is unmatched by any team in the state of California.

We've developed a points system to determine which teams stand out among them all and De La Salle is the big winner with 410 points.

Here is how the points break down:

1. 20 for a state title

2. 10 for state championship game appearance

3. Other points are based on where a team finished in the final MaxPreps California Football Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. For example, if a team finished No. 1 overall, it would receive 25 points. If it finished 25th overall, the team would get one point. No points are awarded if the team did not finish in the Top 25.
