Baseball Game Preview: Lower Dauphin Falcons vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

The Lower Dauphin Falcons will square off against the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lower Dauphin's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Hershey hitters got past them. Lower Dauphin lost 11-5 to Hershey on Thursday. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt came up short against Conestoga Valley on Friday, falling 10-1. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop McDevitt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Shroy, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Shroy's first of the season.

Bishop McDevitt's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lower Dauphin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
