Soccer Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the White House Blue Devils. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Springfield were already down 4-0.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-2. As for White House, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-11.

Looking ahead, Springfield will square off against White House-Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White House, they will take on Christ Presbyterian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
