Football Game Preview: Gordonsville Tigers vs. Stone Memorial Panthers

The Gordonsville Tigers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge the Stone Memorial Panthers at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Gordonsville is headed out to face Stone Memorial after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Gordonsville came out on top against Warren County by a score of 27-19 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Stone Memorial got themselves on the board against Bledsoe County on Friday, but Bledsoe County never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 42-0 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Stone Memorial's win came from a few key players Gordonsville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addison Howard, who threw for 319 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of her passes. Lauren Clark was another key player, gaining 153 total yards and three touchdowns.
