Preview: Fort Campbell vs. Paducah Tilghman
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Paducah Tilghman. On Friday they will take on Fort Campbell at 7:00 PM. Paducah Tilghman will be strutting in after a win while Fort Campbell will be stumbling in from a loss.
Last Friday, Paducah Tilghman put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 43-10 margin over Union County. The success made it back-to-back wins for Paducah Tilghman.
Meanwhile, we expected Fort Campbell to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Caldwell County, and they did. Fort Campbell suffered a grim 15-48 defeat to Caldwell County. Fort Campbell's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it three losses in a row.
Paducah Tilghman took their match against Fort Campbell the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 42-8 score. Will Paducah Tilghman repeat their success, or does Fort Campbell have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
