After losing to Shadow Mountain the last time they met, Greenway decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Demons came out on top against the Matadors by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

The win didn't come easy: Shadow Mountain scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 26-24.

Rylee Miller paced Greenway's offense, picking up nine kills. Miller got some help from Haidyn Nelson and her 26 assists. Nelson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Karissa Heenan, each putting up three.

When it comes to explaining why Shadow Mountain lost, don't look at LILLIAN VARGAS. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and eight kills. Another player making a difference was ALLY SPURLIN, who had six digs and two aces.

Greenway's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Shadow Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Greenway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Moon Valley on the 22nd. As for Shadow Mountain, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Goldwater on the 22nd.
