Basketball Recap: Lawrence County Triumphs + How To Watch

The Lawrence County Red Devils earned a 67-57 win over the Sheffield Bulldogs on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Jackson Smith produced another solid performance going 9-for-19 on his way to 30 points and seven boards. What's more, he also posted a 63% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ben Newton, who posted nine points in addition to seven steals and six assists.

Lawrence County now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sheffield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Lawrence County will venture away from home to take on Athens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheffield has already played their next matchup (against Rogers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
