Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hoosick Falls). They put the hurt on the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians with a sharp 23-2 victory on Monday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Hoosick Falls is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Looking ahead, Hoosick Falls will take on Emma Willard at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Jesters at the right time seeing as the Jesters are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they will challenge Berlin/New Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Fordians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
