Volleyball Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

Dublin lost against Granada back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gaels fell just short of the Matadors by a score of 3-2.

Dublin started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 25-21, 29-27, 15-12.

Dublin dropped their record down to 15-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Granada, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-8 record.

Looking ahead, Dublin will challenge Castro Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Granada will be paying especially close attention to the Gaels' contest: after the Gaels face off against the Trojans, they'll take on Granada again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
