Basketball Recap: Anna Tobeluk's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Anna Tobeluk had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Z John Williams Hawks by a score of 81-74 on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Z John Williams' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson-James Sipary, who posted 23 points. Alexie Amik was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Z John Williams is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Anna Tobeluk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Z John Williams has also already played their next game, a 79-27 defeat against Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial on the 31st.
