Pike posted their closest win since September 2nd on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Warren Central Warriors 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pike was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 24-26, 16-25, 25-22, 15-8.

Pike's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Warren Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pike will challenge Carmel at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warren Central, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ben Davis at 7:00 p.m.
