Volleyball Recap: Ola Starts off Right with Win over Jackson

Ola had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jackson Red Devils. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ola took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Lana Worsham paced Ola's offense, picking up five kills. Worsham got some help from Ashlyn Phillips and her 14 assists. Morgan Jacaman controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Ola wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Veterans on the 5th. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to face off against Luella at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
