Baseball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Takes a Loss

Perry-Lecompton fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Jefferson West on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 7-6. The Kaws have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Perry-Lecompton now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Jefferson West, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

Perry-Lecompton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-8 win against Riley County on the 5th. As for Jefferson West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 19-2 victory against Holton on the 5th.
