Football Recap: Chase County Comes Up Short

Chase County extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They were dealt a 46-0 loss at the hands of the Sidney Red Raiders. Considering the last time the Longhorns couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Krayton Paisley threw for 83 yards on six of 19 attempts. Jaqueb Hoover was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.

As for Sidney, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Considering they have won six games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The critical scores for Sidney came from Carter Lipska, Keian Kaiser, Keair Scott, Kyle Jaggers, Kale Kaiser, Alek Doty, and Rhys Dorcey.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chase County is set to take on their familiar foe Ogallala at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sidney will face off against rival Alliance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
