Softball Preview: St. Charles East Fighting Saints vs. Wheaton North Falcons

The St. Charles East Fighting Saints will head out on the road to challenge the Wheaton North Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Charles East will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Grace Hautzinger made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Hautzinger has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Hautzinger was also solid in the batter's box, going 4-for-4 with an RBI.
