The Seekonk Warriors will take on the Bourne Canalmen at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Seekonk will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Old Rochester Regional on Wednesday. The Warriors blew past the Bulldogs 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Austin Robinson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Colin Lush was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Seekonk was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bourne). Their pitcher stepped up to hand Wareham a 13-0 shutout on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Cam Polczwartek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Polczwartek was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with four runs and two RBI. He has become a key player for Bourne: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-11 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Luca Finton, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, two RBI, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Bourne's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-11 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Griffin Kelly, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
The victory made it two in a row for Bourne and bumps their season record up to 3-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Seekonk, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Seekonk took their victory against Bourne when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 16-6 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Canalmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
