Basketball Recap: Ravenna Triumphs

Ravenna hadn't done well against Mason County Central recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Ravenna Bulldogs came out on top against the Mason County Central Spartans by a score of 33-21. The 33-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Ravenna and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Mason County Central, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ravenna will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hesperia at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Mason County Central will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Fremont will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mason County Central surely won't give up without a fight.
