Volleyball Game Preview: Los Altos Eagles vs. Saratoga Falcons

The Los Altos Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Saratoga Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Los Altos will be strutting in after a win while Saratoga will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Los Altos beat Wilcox 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Los Altos was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-21, 28-26.

Los Altos' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Micah Ng, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave Ng a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Saratoga came up short against Mountain View on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Saratoga's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Los Altos, their win bumped their record up to 18-5.

Everything went Los Altos' way against Saratoga in their previous meeting back in March, as Los Altos made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
