Basketball Recap: South Harrison Hawks vs. Tyler Knights

South Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Tyler Knights, falling 69-24. The Hawks lost against the Knights in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 46-30 score last time.

Tyler was led to victory by Jules Lattea and Katie Grimm. Lattea dropped a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds, while Grimm posted 18 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. Lattea also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Tyler is 3-1 when she posts at least five steals, but 7-11 otherwise. Addison Reed was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points.

South Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Tyler, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.
