Basketball Recap: Carson Reynolds and Carver Davis Secure Win for Ninety Six

Ninety Six won against Ware Shoals last Tuesday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Ninety Six Wildcats had just enough and edged the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes out 58-56. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 53-38 victory the Blue Flashes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Leading Ninety Six to victory were Carver Davis and Carson Reynolds. Davis posted 11 points and three steals, while Reynolds almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Ty Ridlehoover was another key player, putting up ten points and six assists.

Ninety Six's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Ninety Six will host Emerald at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calhoun Falls Charter, they will head out to take on Thornwell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calhoun Falls Charter will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
